Welcome to Levantine Dress. These Terms of Use (the "Terms") apply when you visit levantinedress.com (the "Site") or buy from us. By using the Site or placing an order you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Who we are

The Site is operated by Levantine Dress, 37-126 Bonaventure Drive, London, Ontario N5V 4R6, Canada ("we", "us"). You can reach us at support@levantinedress.com.

Using the Site

You may use the Site for personal, non-commercial shopping. You agree to give accurate information, to use the Site only for lawful purposes, and not to copy our content, scrape the Site, interfere with its operation or try to access data that is not yours. You must be at least 18 years old to place an order.

Products and descriptions

We do our best to show our products accurately. Our pieces are hand-embroidered or handmade in small batches, so small differences in pattern, colour and finish are part of the craft and are not defects. Screens also show colours differently. Measurements on each product page are approximate; please check the size guide before ordering.

Prices and currency

Prices are shown in Canadian dollars (CAD) or US dollars (USD) depending on the currency you choose on the Site, and you are charged in that currency. Prices do not include shipping or any import duties and taxes (see our Shipping Policy). We may change prices at any time, but changes do not affect orders already placed. If a product is listed at a clearly wrong price because of an error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full.

Orders and payment

Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we send your shipping confirmation. We may refuse or cancel any order, for example when an item is out of stock, we cannot verify payment, or we suspect fraud; in that case you will be refunded in full. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

Shipping, returns and refunds

Our Shipping Policy and our Return and Refund Policy form part of these Terms. Please read them before ordering.

Promotions and discount codes

Discount codes cannot be combined unless we say otherwise, cannot be applied to past orders, and may be withdrawn at any time. Sale items are final sale as described in our Return and Refund Policy.

Intellectual property

All content on the Site, including photographs, text, logos, graphics and the design of the Site, belongs to Levantine Dress or our suppliers and is protected by Canadian and international copyright and trademark law. You may not reproduce or use it without our written permission. Traditional embroidery motifs belong to the communities that created them; our photographs and product descriptions belong to us.

Reviews and content you send us

If you send us a review, photo or message, you give us permission to use it on the Site and in our marketing, without payment, as long as it is not defamatory, offensive or misleading. We may remove any content at our discretion.

Links to other sites

The Site may link to other websites, such as Instagram or our payment provider. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Levantine Dress is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the Site or our products. Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under the consumer protection laws of Ontario or Canada that cannot be excluded.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply in Ontario. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of Ontario, unless consumer protection law gives you the right to use another forum.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the bottom of this page shows when they were last changed. Your continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
